Colin

Colin McKay is an audio enthusiast who divides his time between Montréal and Paris, his wife’s native home. He first became involved in the hi-fi movement in Paris, chumming with notables like Jean Hiraga. In his own words: “I have been intimately involved in the amateur audiophile community for 35 years. The moment I sat down for my first evening of listening with the Maison d’Audiophile club in Paris, I knew I had found one of my true passions in life.”

“Since then, I’ve accumulated an extensive and rich experience in this community. I wish to share this experience with old and newcomers alike.  My approach is to discover and share with Wall of Sound readers the new value oriented gear that is emerging in today’s audio industry.  My approach will be as educative, and knowledgeable as possible.”
